The Bachelor’s Degree in Adult Education (BA AE) is the only provider of an undergraduate degree in adult education in Western Canada. Flexible class schedules provide day and evening sessions to meet the unique needs of adult learners. The Kansas Four-Year State Plan was developed cooperatively with adult education center directors and coordinators who provide services to citizens in Kansas. Program students are employed as are HR Professionals, Trainers, Instructional Designers, Counselors, Social Service and Community-based Providers, etc.
Adult learners enrolled in Adult High School can earn a high school diploma or its equivalent by successfully passing the Standard GED® tests. All adults have the right to complete their education through the high school level. The Kentucky Office of Employment and Training estimates that by 2020, some form of postsecondary education will be required for 29 percent of all jobs and 62 percent of all jobs in Kentucky. Olympic Adult Education (OAE) was founded after identifying a need to address the deficiencies in literacy and basic education for the many educationally disadvantaged adults in the local community.
