Adult Education Quarterly (AEQ) is a quarterly scholarly refereed journal committed to advancing the understanding and practice of adult and continuing education. The mission of the Adult Education Division of the City Colleges of Chicago is to provide educational programs that help adults become literate, learn English as a second language, obtain a GED® credential, and gain the knowledge, skills and guidance necessary for transition to college and career pathways.

Because the abstractions governing the user’s interactions with a PC were so new, many people who had been working white-collar jobs for ten years or more eventually took such training courses, either at their own whim (to gain computer skills and thus earn higher pay) or at the behest of their managers.adult education

Special Programs — Our Youth Services Program provides low-income youth with career counseling, skills training and job placement assistance, while our Vocational Skills Program sponsors free computer classes for currently enrolled Adult Education students.adult education
